What should I do if I can no longer provide classes for Live Lingua?

Hey, sorry to hear that you may be leaving us.

We know that circumstances changes and we wish you all the best in the next chapter.

We're here to help in the transition and will do all we can to ensure your student's classes are not adversely affected by reassigning them as and when the time comes.

Here's what to do if your leaving us is a done deal:

1. Inform your class coordinators and the academic team confirming the date until which you will be able to provide classes.
2. Contact all your students directly to inform them of this change, and to confirm to them when their last class with you will be. Also, let them know that Live Lingua's Class Coordinators will be contacting them to assist in assigning them a new teacher.
3. Let your class coordinators know that the students have been informed.
4. Send your class coordinators a list of all of your students with the following information:

  • Preferred days and times/frequency of classes
  • Areas of which the classes focus, the main approach adopted with that student
  • Any additional information regarding their requirements, if they are children for example.

5. If you need to cancel any classes students have already scheduled that you will no longer be able to take please email the affected student to let them know prior to canceling the class.
6. Amend your calendar so that classes cannot be scheduled from the day you have decided to stop providing classes with us.

We of course wish you all the best!
